My Most Worthwhile Investment

To succeed in the real estate industry or any other niche out there from what I’ve seen, it is essential that you want to be investing in the right tools and materials but other than that, I’d say yourself is the most worthwhile investment. Why do I say this? For me investing in myself is something that has helped me to reach where I am today.

I am not bragging by any means, but based on my experience enhancing yourself like attending networking events, boot camps, and others has allowed me to scale up tactics, tools, and strategies.

Sales and marketing are my strengths, and I personally believe that investing myself is valuable because I did not just gain the knowledge but also the experience as well to get a more competitive edge in the real estate industry.

Grow Network

Investing in myself didn’t just help me enhance my knowledge and scale up my skills but it has given me the chance to grow my network. Meaning, I was able to grow my network by meeting important people in the industry as well.

Developed a Systematic Process

With investing in myself, I have been able to figure out more ways on how to provide more structure within the marketing element as well as the sales element. It has helped me create a systematic process which you can learn more about in my mentorship program.

As an example, with our acquisitions arm on the multifamily buying apartments, I was able to have a solid structure, which means everything is organized like how we do our cold calls. They are very strategic and straight to the point. We have the greeting, the reason for the call, setting an appointment and other important aspects.

From then on, if the owner declined the offer, then don’t lose track. Always have a contingency plan like following up. When you follow-up, of course, you have to make sure that you have the right words and timing.

A Chance to Become an Authority

I’ve learned that equipping yourself with the right education, tools and becoming the best version of yourself is definitely the key to success. By pushing out quality content and telling your story it allows you to become more trusted and credible leading to more opportunities. By building my personal brand it has led to getting well known influencers on my podcast, investors and students.

Summary

What I learned is that as you scale up by investing in yourself, you’ll surely become more valuable to the marketplace. You can make money and provide more of a contribution. Those are all the things that you’ll be able to get and I believe you have more ROI or return on investment. One just has to invest in time and effort because you cannot gain those skills and mastery if you will just sit there without doing anything. Continuous improvement is not just a worthwhile investment but an integral key to get those numbers.
